Orica seeks an Officer - Accounting to support regional financial planning, reporting and insights. You will partner with Finance Business Partners, operations leaders and the Analytics Hub to deliver accurate financial information that guides decision-making and performance improvements.

The role exposes you to manufacturing, commercial operations, FP&A, and global business partnering within a large, multinational company. Strong ERP experience and advanced Excel are highly valued.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis skills.
• ERP experience, SAP highly regarded; advanced Excel and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Discrete Manufacturing teams, Commercial Finance Business Partners, and the broader Finance organization to provide timely and accurate financial support for operations in scope.
• Support monthly close activities and ensure compliance with reporting timelines
• Prepare accurate financial and performance reports for regional stakeholders
• Assist Finance Business Partners with operational and commercial analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Monitor and analyse fixed costs, cost drivers, and business performance trends
• Provide financial insights and guidance to operational leaders
• Identify performance variances and assist with corrective action recommendations
• Support compliance with Orica financial standards, policies, and reporting requirements
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required
• Collaborate with the Finance Analytics Hub and wider Finance team to continuously improve reporting and insights
