Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (Manila) seeks a Reefer Field Coordinator in Bulacan to oversee the safe transport of temperature‑sensitive goods in refrigerated containers. You will verify reefer van quality, manage stuffing to standards, and check documents.
Responsibilities include equipment checks, loading coordination, PPE enforcement, and maintaining packing records. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in logistics are required, with Reefer exposure and basic troubleshooting preferred.
The Reefer Field Coordinator is to ensure the efficient and safe transportation of temperature-sensitive goods in refrigerated containers or reefer vans. This role involves checking the quality of the reefer van, ensuring stuffing of goods adheres to the standards and checking of documents.
Ensure the quality of the reefer van is compliant with quality control standards and guidelines.
Check the Reefer Van for any damages, foul smells, panel board displays, or any technical problems.
Work with the depot representative to plug in the reefer van and check the panel board display if working.
Monitor pre-cooling display for required temperature based on the goods that will be stuffed.
Conduct basic troubleshooting for minimal technical problems, but for major technical issues, coordinate and call for the reefer technician.
Coordinate the loading of goods, ensuring proper handling and stuffing of items inside the reefer van.
Receive booking and pick list from the Sales Team.
Ensure that all team members involved are wearing their personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physically check for the stacked of goods for any damages and coordinate for any replacements.
Conduct actual item counting and ensure that item codes/descriptions/SKU per actual cases are tally.
Coordinate with the client on the loading schedule and area, and must observe the actual loading and stocking of items.
Monitoring the stuffing process adhering to the standards of PSACC.
Maintain accurate records of packing list, proforma and other documentation required.
Check and ensure the completeness of the documents like Sales Invoice, Delivery Receipt, Final Loading List etc.
Check the quantity based on the packing list, proforma, Sales Invoices and Delivery Receipts and ensure the accuracy.
Observe the actual sealing of the container van and check the actual seal for security purposes.
Ensure that all the documents like proforma, bill of lading, dock appointment slip, way bill etc. are complete and given to the truck driver.
Take pictures of the documents as a copy.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or a college level at the minimum.
With 1 to 2 years of experience in the logistics industry as a checker.
With Reefer van exposure and technical background
