Job summary

Accenture Philippines is seeking an experienced Record to Report Ops Specialist to join our Finance Operations team in Negros Occidental. You will oversee the end-to-end R2R cycle, from journal entries to final reporting, and determine financial outcomes by analyzing operational data.

The role requires 7–11 years of experience, a BCom or Chartered Accountant credential, and strong skills in accounting standards and journal entries. Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Primary requirement: Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards (R2R).
• Secondary requirement: Accounting Journal Entries.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End R2R: oversee journal entries to final reporting.
• Understand accruals, prepaid, payroll, and related accounting.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and controls.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other finance teams to improve reporting.
• Analyze financial data to spot trends and issues.
• Contribute to accounting policy development and enforcement.
• Proactive problem solving and process improvements.
• Flexible with shift timing and customer-centric attitude.
• Strong written and verbal MS Office communication.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• A set of international accounting standards stating how particular types of transactions and other events should be reported in financial statements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• End-to-End R2R Process Management - Oversee the entire record-to-report cycle, from journal entries to final reporting
• Good understanding of Accounting skills like Accruals, Prepaid, Payroll etc.
• Account Reconciliation - Ensure accuracy of financial records by reconciling accounts regularly
• Financial Statement Preparation - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Audit Support - Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications
• Compliance & Controls - Ensure adherence to financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal controls
• Collaboration Across Teams - Work closely with FP&A, and other finance functions to streamline processes and improve reporting
• Data Analysis - Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Policy Implementation - Contribute to the development and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
