Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist with 7–11 years of experience and a Chartered Accountant or equivalent graduation. The role focuses on SOX compliance, risk assessment, and control design across client engagements in the Philippines.

The candidate will align with our Risk and Compliance vertical, perform reviews, publish actionable reports, and help service delivery teams prepare for external client audits. Rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• You must have strong SOX knowledge and hands-on experience with controls and audits.
• Experience designing and implementing compliance controls to mitigate risk.
• Familiarity with GRC platforms and audit readiness processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance reviews and publish action-oriented reports with closures.
• Design and recommend effective controls to mitigate risks for audits.
• Collaborate with risk teams to identify and mitigate client risks.
• Assist in mapping SOX controls into client financial processes and systems.
• Support rotation and coordination with senior management on decisions.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Risk and Compliance vertical and help us perform compliance reviews, publish reports with actions and provide closure guidance as needed.
• We design & recommend effective controls to mitigate risks and help service delivery team prepare for upcoming client external audits.
• You will be working as a part of the Risk compliance team which is responsible for helping clients and organizations identify risks and create mitigation plans
• United States federal law that set new or expanded requirements for all U. U. public company boards, management and public accounting firms.
• Assist in implementation of client-designed Sarbanes-Oxley controls into client s financial processes, enterprise resource planning system or supporting technology.

• Secondary skill - Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Platforms - P4

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
• May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside.
• Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
