Keywords Studios is seeking a highly skilled Hair Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, groom, and texture realistic and stylized hair assets for characters in games projects, working closely with character artists, Leads, AD and technical teams to ensure high-quality results that align with the artistic vision and technical requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in hair modelling, grooming, and texturing, with proficiency in Maya/Blender, ZBrush,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hair modelling, grooming and texturing experience.
• Experience with AAA game development is preferred.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Maya/Blender, ZBrush, XGen, Photoshop CC, Substance Painter).

Responsibilities

• Design, sculpt, and texture high-quality hair assets using industry-standard tools.
• Work on hair grooming, styling, and simulations for realistic and stylized characters.
• Collaborate with character artists and animators to integrate hair assets into production.
• Optimize hair assets for real-time rendering in game engines.
• Implement physics-based hair movement and ensure natural behavior.
• Stay updated with industry trends and research new techniques.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to hair rendering and performance.
