Keywords Studios is seeking a highly skilled Hair Artist to design, groom, and texture hair assets for game characters. You will collaborate with character artists and technical teams to ensure assets meet artistic and technical requirements, from grooming and styling to integration in production pipelines.

The role emphasizes real-time hair workflows, physics-based movement, and optimization for engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hair modeling, grooming, and texturing.
• Proficiency in Maya or Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter and game engines.
• Strong knowledge of real-time hair workflows and physics-based movement.
• Excellent collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, sculpt, and texture high-quality hair assets for characters.
• Groom, style, and simulate hair for realistic and stylized looks.
• Integrate hair assets into production pipelines with other artists.
• Optimize assets for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Implement physics-based hair movement and behavior.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques.
