Description

As a Re Use Technician, you will be responsible for the following:

• Dialyzer Reuse & Reprocessing: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dialyzers according to center protocols. Ensure all reused dialyzers meet safety and quality standards. Maintain proper labeling, tracking, and documentation.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and store dialysis machines and related equipment. Monitor gauges and equipment levels. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dialysis and water treatment equipment. Report issues promptly.
• Patient Support & Assistance: Assist nurses and technicians during dialysis operations. Explain treatment procedures to patients, measure vital signs, and prepare machines.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow infection control policies and use PPE correctly. Adhere to safety and health protocols for patients and staff.
• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of dialyzer usage, sterilization cycles, equipment operation, and quality checks. Report discrepancies or incidents. Assist with inventory management.
• Workplace Organization & Support: Keep workstations clean and organized. Participate in staff training and continuous improvement programs.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
