Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform dialyzer reprocessing (semi-automated) following company protocols.
Maintain and assist in proper upkeep of reprocessing machines and dialysis equipment.
Operate, monitor, and maintain the R.O. water treatment system to ensure quality dialysis water.
Ensure proper temperature calibration of ovens and accurate documentation.
Maintain log sheets and records of reprocessed dialyzers and water treatment parameters.
Prepare and mix acid and bicarbonate concentrates as directed.
Test specific gravity of acid and bicarbonate mixtures to ensure correct parameters.
Refill acid bath and bicarbonate containers after proper mixing.
Conduct regular cleaning and disinfection of mixers, containers, and water system components.
Properly dispose of failed dialyzers and bloodlines according to protocol.
Adhere strictly to infection control, hazardous materials, and safety policies.
Immediately report failed dialyzers to NCC/NIC for prompt patient notification.
Job Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
