Job summary

Rail Signalling Expert (CBTC) - Philippines

EWI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Signalling Expert to support the delivery of a major rail project in Manila.

This is a long-term international assignment offering the opportunity to contribute to one of the region's most significant railway infrastructure programmes. The position is particularly suited to a senior signalling professional with extensive railway project experience and a proven background in the successful delivery, installation and commissioning of Communications-Based Train Control systems.

The assignment is expected to run for 33 man-months and be acting on behalf of the end client.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
• Approximately 20 years of general professional experience.
• At least 15 years of railway project experience.
• Extensive experience working as a signalling specialist.
• Experience on at least one railway project involving the successful delivery, installation and commissioning of a Communications-Based Train Control system.
• Experience as a signalling specialist on at least one railway project where the signalling package had a value exceeding USD 30 million.
• Strong English-language communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international and multidisciplinary project environment.

Package and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive:

• USD 11,500 per full working month, comprising:
• USD 8,000 monthly remuneration.
• USD 3,500 monthly per diem.
