Job summary

Mapúa University in collaboration with Arizona State University is seeking a Radiologic Technology Program Chair for the Makati Campus to provide academic leadership and advance RadTech education. The role includes curriculum development, faculty management, student outcomes analysis, accreditation, and research oversight.

The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science degree, a valid Rad Tech license, and 3–5 years of university teaching experience, with 2+ years in clinical settings.

Qualifications

  • Must be a duly licensed radiologic technologist with at least a Master of Science degree.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Preferably with 5 years of teaching experience.
  • Highly digital-native professional adept at integrating emerging technologies and digital tools into academic leadership and program management.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Developing and updating the curriculum to ensure that it meets the latest standards for quality and relevance in RadTech education.
  • Faculty Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating faculty members; overseeing their teaching methods, classroom management, and ensuring that they are following the program's standards and objectives.
  • Student Outcomes: Tracking and analyzing student performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, support, and/or remediation; and to ensure that the program is meeting its educational goals.
  • Accreditation: Ensuring that the program meets the standards and requirements of relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Research: Ensuring that high quality and relevant research is conducted in the field of RadTech, aligned with the broader institutional goals and research agenda.
  • Budget and Resources: Managing the program's budget, resources, and facilities.
  • Outreach and Partnerships: Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, employers, and other stakeholders in the RadTech field.
  • Student Recruitment and Support: Facilitating student selection and admission; and providing support and guidance to students in the program.
