Mapúua University, in collaboration with Arizona State University, is looking for a Radiologic Technology (Rad Tech) Program Chair to provide academic leadership, champion educational excellence, and inspire the next generation of radiologic technologists.
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM CHAIR for MAKATI CAMPUS
Primary Responsibilities:
- 1. Curriculum Development: Developing and updating the curriculum to ensure that it meets the latest standards for quality and relevance in RadTech education.
- 2. Faculty Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating faculty members; overseeing their teaching methods, classroom management, and ensuring that they are following the program's standards and objectives.
- 3. Student Outcomes: Tracking and analyzing student performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, support, and/or remediation; and to ensure that the program is meeting its educational goals.
- 4. Accreditation: Ensuring that the program meets the standards and requirements of relevant accrediting bodies.
- 5. Research: Ensuring that high quality and relevant research is conducted in the field of RadTech, aligned with the broader institutional goals and research agenda.
- 6. Budget and Resources: Managing the program's budget, resources, and facilities.
- 7. Outreach and Partnerships: Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, employers, and other stakeholders in the RadTech field.
- 8. Student Recruitment and Support: Facilitating student selection and admission; and providing support and guidance to students in the program.
Qualifications:
- Must be a duly licensed radiologic technologist with at least a relevant Master of Science degree.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Preferably with 5 years of teaching experience.
- Highly digital-native professional adept at integrating emerging technologies and digital tools into academic leadership and program management.
