Job summary

Next Health Diagnostics in BGC, Taguig City, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and support accurate diagnoses while maintaining ALARA standards.

The ideal candidate holds a PRC License with 1-2 years CT experience and can perform 2D Echo; willingness to rotate areas and start ASAP. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, ensure patient safety, and maintain meticulous records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Valid PRC License as a Radiologic Technologist.
• 1-2 years experience in CT Scan and can perform 2D Echo procedures.
• Ability to undertake venous Cannulation for IV Contrast media is a plus.
• Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate to other areas of the facility.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures.
• Cover duties based on the needs even for more than one modality.
• Participate in educational lectures and share new update information with colleagues.
• Apply QC in positioning, artifact and equipment malfunction errors.
• Performs other duties related to the work as assigned by the clinic manager/ supervisor as needed.
• Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with suppliers, physicians and staff.
• Use the PACS system correctly which includes: patient and exam identity, view, display, quality control and distribute the images from the modalities.
• Ensures compliance with the policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, and safety and infection control.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintains organizational confidentiality at all times.
• Completes annual education requirements.
• Maybe designated as Acting Supervisor in the absence of the Chief Radiologic Technologists with leadership skills and attitudes.
• Maintains daily records of all work done within the department.
• Enter all services charge cost codes on the request/report forms.
• Be innovative and assist in radiographic technology methods.
• Use specific techniques and equipment to protect patients and hospital personnel from the hazards of radiation.
• Inspect and clean cassettes, imaging plates and anything related to infection control.
