Job summary

EYKON PRIVATE LIMITED, formerly part of Landis+Gyr Group, seeks an experienced Software R&D Project Manager to lead an infrastructure modernization program. You will drive CI/CD adoption, cloud-native development, and productivity improvements across global R&D teams, ensuring on-time delivery and strong governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PM/Program management for infra modernization and cloud/DevOps programs.
• Fluent with CI/CD concepts, containers, cloud platforms, Git, and test automation.
• PM certifications (PMP, IPMA, SAFe, Scrum Master) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a business-critical Software R&D infrastructure modernization initiative, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and alignment with business objectives.
• Own project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and milestone achievement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Software R&D leadership, engineering teams, architects, platform organizations, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across software development, DevOps, quality engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and external partner organizations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting organizational change and adoption of new tools and processes.
• Provide regular project reporting, facilitate project governance activities, and ensure transparency across stakeholder groups.
• Support best practices in Software R&D project management and software delivery processes.

Project Manager (Software) – Infrastructure Modernization & NextGen HES

We are looking for an experienced and drivenSoftware R&D Project Managerto lead a strategic infrastructure modernization initiative across our global Software R&D organization.

This highly visible role will drive the transformation of our software delivery ecosystem through modern CI/CD platforms, cloud-native development capabilities, development infrastructure modernization, and engineering productivity improvements.

The position sits at the intersection of software engineering, platform development, DevOps, quality assurance, cybersecurity, and business leadership. You will play a pivotal role in enabling our Software R&D organization to deliver software faster, safer, and with higher quality while supporting our long-term technology strategy. Following the successful delivery of the infrastructure modernization program, you will continue leading strategically importantNextGen HESinitiatives within our Software R&D portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Project Delivery:Lead a business-critical Software R&D infrastructure modernization initiative, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and alignment with businessobjectives.
• Drive Execution:Own project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and milestone achievement.
• Stakeholder Management:Build andmaintaineffective working relationships with Software R&D leadership, engineering teams, architects, platform organizations, and key stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:Coordinate activities across software development, DevOps, quality engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and external partner organizations.
• Risk and Change Management:Identifyand mitigate project risks while supporting organizational change and adoption of new tools and processes.
• Governance and Communication:Provide regular project reporting,facilitateproject governance activities, and ensure transparency across stakeholder groups.
• Continuous Improvement:Support best practices in Software R&D project management and software delivery processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:Minimum5+years of project or program management experience, with at least 3+ years leading technical infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, developer platform, DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering transformation initiatives in a Software R&D environment. Proventrack recordof delivering complex cross-functional programs from concept through deployment and organizational adoption.
• Technical Literacy:You are not expected to be a hands-on engineer, but you must be technically fluent enough to lead the program effectively. This includes a working understanding of modern CI/CD concepts (pipelines, environments, release gates), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), version control and development practices (Git, branching strategies), test automation, and DevOps/platform engineering principles.
• Methodologies: Strong command of both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, with the ability to apply the right approach based on program needs. Experience managing programs that combine structured infrastructure deployments with iterative software delivery. PMP, IPMA, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications are considered an advantage (Good to have).
• Change Management and Leadership:Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.Willingness tolead organizationalchangein technical environments, including stakeholder engagement, adoption of new tools and processes, and alignment across globally distributed teams.Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive stakeholder management skills.

Professional Qualification :

• BTech/MTech or MCA with technical degree , PMP Certification - Good to have
• Total expereince 12 to 14 years with minimum 5 years in project management & delivery.

Open to work from office in (4 +1 Hybrid setup).
