Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctoral Degree (PhD/EdD) in a relevant field.
• Must have a strong background in research methodology, including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in conducting action research, evaluative studies, institutional research, and other research designs.
• Must have a demonstrated research and publication record, preferably with publications in peer-reviewed, refereed, or indexed journals.
• Preferably with experience in research management, research mentoring, higher education, or institutional research.
• Experience in presenting research at academic conferences or research forums is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CHED research requirements, research ethics, and accreditation standards is preferred.
• Capable of reviewing research proposals, manuscripts, and other scholarly outputs.
• Excellent research writing, analytical, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in relevant research, statistical, and productivity tools.
• Demonstrates strong professional ethics, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the institution's research agenda, programs, and activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to faculty, staff, and student researchers throughout the research process.
• Review and provide recommendations on research proposals, manuscripts, terminal reports, and other research outputs.
• Provide technical assistance in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research.
• Provide guidance in the development and conduct of action research, evaluative studies, institutional research, and other applied research projects.
• Assist researchers in research design, methodology, data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of research outputs.
• Support the development and review of research policies, guidelines, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in monitoring institutional research performance, including publications, presentations, citations, completed studies, and funded projects.
• Support research ethics processes and ensure adherence to appropriate research standards and institutional requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of research-related requirements for CHED, accreditation, and other regulatory or external bodies.
• Promote and support the publication and presentation of faculty, staff, and student research in appropriate journals, conferences, and research forums.
• Assist in organizing institutional research conferences, forums, capability-building activities, and other research-related programs.
• Support research collaborations and linkages with external institutions and organizations.
• Prepare research-related reports, documentation, accomplishment reports, and other requirements of the Research and Development Office.
• Perform other research and development-related duties as may be assigned by Management.
