Job summary

Philippines is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer with 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing and subcontractor contracts in a construction setting in Metro Manila. The role requires strong communication, planning, and coordination with the GridCore team to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering (preferably licensed).
• Licensed Civil Engineer is a must.
• 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry as Quantity Surveyor.
• Knowledgeable in Planswift, AutoCAD, SketchUp; Revit is a plus.
• Exposure to finishes, precast, formwork, rebar, concreting and fabrication.
• Knowledgeable in understanding and estimating MEPFS plans.
• Develop weekly and daily project plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

• Controls project cost by suggesting for approval the costs, assess subcontractor contracts.
• Expected to attend all new project meetings, project PPE for accurate costing and possible impromptu costing.
• Ability to meet deadlines of each project for costing.
• Coordinate with the GridCore team for smooth coordination and for the successful completion of the project.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in the construction company as Quantity Surveyor
• Knowledgeable in using Planswift, Autocad, Sketchup. Revit is a plus point.
• Exposed in all construction facets (finishes, precast, formwork, rebar, concreting and fabrication)
• Knowledgeable in understanding and estimating MEPFS plans
• Can understand the project and work order plan budget and manpower assignment
• Knows to develop weekly & daily plan
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills
