Job summary

RTX in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspection of received parts and materials, ensuring conformance to specifications and readiness for further processing. The role includes First Article Inspections (FAI), disposition of items, and data collection for technical reports and inspection plans.

Responsibilities

• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications.
• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Aprroves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
• Gathers data for preparation of technical reports.
• Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.
