Job summary

Hacienda Macalauan, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager to oversee QA policies, maintain GMP/HACCP, and lead the QARD team in a fast-paced food manufacturing operation in Laguna.

You will partner with senior management to develop and revise quality strategies, conduct audits, ensure regulatory compliance with FDA and other bodies, and drive continual improvements through robust documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or higher in chemistry/food science/engineering or related field.
• Experience in managing food, personal care, or pharmaceutical product manufacturing is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all Quality Assurance Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and ensure compliance to quality and food safety standards with senior management.
• Provide support to Dairy and Farm production by enforcing GMP systems and validating processes.
• Set short and long-term plans for the QARD Department including budgeting.
• Lead development of new products and process innovations with specifications.
• Review investigations and root-cause analyses of non-conformance and complaints.
• Lead external audits (GMP, HACCP, FSMS, SWA, Halal, SQMS, etc.).
• Liaise with FDA, regulators, clients and suppliers to maintain relationships and enable rapid corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly management reports on food safety and quality issues and trends.
• Lead annual management reviews and verify compliance with standards.
• Complete customer compliance documentation.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by Management.
