Job summary

Unilab, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform analytical method validation and verification for simple to semi-complex procedures, and to document updates to procedures and transfer protocols.

The role includes conducting microbiology testing for product authentication and assisting in training junior staff. The analyst will also perform instrument calibration and OOS investigations under supervision, with a focus on aseptic technique and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Experience in microbiology testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical method validation/verification for simple to semi-complex procedures.
• Documents procedures and transfer protocols per validation protocols.
• Conducts physico-chemical analysis of finished products for authentication.
• Investigates OOS results following procedures with supervision.
• Performs instrument calibration, verification and system checks.
• Assists in calibration monitoring, inventory, and reagents procurement.
• Updates procedural documents and assists in training.
