Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet quality, food safety, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and company standards.

Open to fresh graduates with relevant science degrees. Onsite work at CBY Head Office; Monday–Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; salary PHP 18,000–20,000 monthly. Benefits include sick/vacation leave, rice ration, hospitalization, dental check, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• College level or graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Biology, BS Microbiology, BS Nutrition and Dietetics, or any related science course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Applicants with manufacturing or quality control experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Halal Assurance System is an advantage.
• Willing to undergo Halal awareness and competency training.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and on shifting schedules.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect delivery trucks, incoming materials, and packaging for quality compliance.
• Conduct sampling, inspections, and routine calibration of weighing scales and measuring equipment.
• Monitor in-process production and verify product weight, packaging, and finished product quality.
• Perform Vitamin A fortification activities following established procedures.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability documents, and quality reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.
• Perform Halal-critical activities in compliance with the Halal Assurance System (HAS).
• Ensure proper handling, segregation, monitoring, and documentation of Halal materials.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Halal, and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.

Job Summary
