Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Licensed Chemical Technician with a Bachelor's in Food Technology to join our quality control laboratory.

The role requires 1–2 years of QC or lab experience and knowledge of GLP, GMP, HACCP and ISO standards. You will perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on materials and finished products, record results, maintain documentation, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Licensed Chemical Technician
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Laboratory environment
• Entry-level candidates with a strong academic background may be considered
• Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and quality standards
• Knowledge of GLP, GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, and ISO requirements
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsabilidades

• Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials and finished products
• Record and analyze laboratory test results
• Maintain laboratory documentation and reports
• Assist in investigating non-conformances and out-of-specification results
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Conduct inspections of packaging materials, labels, and product integrity
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist during internal and external audits
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory and quality processes
