DELI FRESH FOODS CORPORATION is seeking a dedicated QA Specialist/QC Officer to join our Santa Maria, Bulacan facility. You will conduct quality inspections, microbiological and chemical testing, and ensure products meet strict safety standards to protect our brand and satisfy customers.

The ideal candidate holds a Food Science-related degree and 2–3 years of food quality control experience, with strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related discipline.
• 2–3 years in quality control in food/beverage.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and local/international food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform microbiological, chemical and sensory analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Perform microbiological, chemical and sensory testing using laboratory equipment.
• Document QC findings in detailed reports for traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Identify non-conformities and implement CAPA with production teams.
• Monitor hygiene and food safety protocols across facilities.
• Audit production processes, storage facilities and equipment for compliance.
• Liaise with suppliers to verify incoming material quality and maintain records.
• Participate in root cause analyses and recommend solutions.
• Ensure QC activities comply with legislation and industry standards.
• Maintain and calibrate QC equipment for accuracy.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedQuality Assurance (QA) Specialistto join DELI FRESH FOODS CORPORATION in Santa Maria, Bulacan. This is a full-time positionthat plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality and compliance across our operations. As QA Specialist / QC Officer, you will be instrumental in protecting our brand reputation and ensuring every product that reaches our customers meets our rigorous quality benchmarks. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the company's commitment to excellence in fresh food production.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress products and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company specifications
2. Perform microbiological, chemical and sensory testing using appropriate laboratory equipment and techniques to identify potential contaminants or quality deviations
3. Document all quality control findings, test results and observations in detailed reports, maintaining accurate records for traceability and regulatory compliance
4. Identify quality issues or non-conformities and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
5. Monitor and enforce adherence to hygiene, sanitation and food safety protocols across production facilities
6. Conduct regular audits of production processes, storage facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal standards
7. Liaise with suppliers to verify the quality of incoming materials and maintain records of supplier performance
8. Participate in root cause analysis investigations when quality issues arise and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence
9. Ensure all quality control activities comply with relevant legislation, including food safety regulations and industry standards
10. Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results

What we’re looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related discipline
2. Proven experience in quality control within the food and beverage industry, ideally 2-3 years in a similar role
3. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant local and international food safety regulations
4. Competency in performing microbiological, chemical and sensory analysis using laboratory equipment
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from quality standards
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions
7. Proficiency in quality control documentation systems and data recording
8. Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
9. Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar) is advantageous
10. Physical ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including cold storage areas
