Ubiquity is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to conduct end-to-end testing across software apps, websites, and products. You will identify, log, and resolve defects to ensure functionality, reliability, and user satisfaction.

You will review designs and requirements, craft test plans, execute cases, and log issues while collaborating with developers to drive product improvements. A bachelor's in CS/IT/SE is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication to explain issues clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL or backend scripting languages.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to conduct end-to-end testing across our software applications, websites, and technical products. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, logging, and resolving software defects to ensure our products meet high standards of functionality, reliability, and user satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Requirement Analysis: Review design specifications, product requirements, and technical documentation to understand project scope and functional targets.
• Test Planning & Execution: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications or team discussions. Proven ability to create clear, effective test plans and test scenarios from written specifications or verbal communications.
• Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, log, and track software bugs, edge cases, and performance glitches.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with developers to report defects, suggest root-cause fixes, and recommend product improvements.
• Quality & Compliance: Validate data accuracy, backend functions, and system performance to ensure strict adherence to internal standards and user requirements.
• Continuous Support: Perform other QA-related tasks and duties as assigned to support release cycles.

Core Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both engineering colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical & Data Skills: Experience with SQL or backend scripting languages.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities paired with meticulous documentation skills.
