Job summary

Kooler Industries Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to ensure products, services, or processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will identify defects, analyze processes, and implement improvements to boost quality and efficiency.

The role requires a 1-year QA/QC background in manufacturing, knowledge of ISO 9001, and willingness to work on-site in Quezon City. Refrigeration/HVAC or electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance or electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Must be willing to work at Quezon City.
• Training in Quality Management System is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiar with inspection tools and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests to identify defects in products, services or processes.

• Prepares reports with findings and suggested improvements.

Job Purpose:

The Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible in ensuring that products, services, or processes meet the established quality standards and requirements. Their primary goal is to identify and address defects, inconsistencies or deviations from established standards to ensure final product or service meets the customer's expectations and regulatory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts inspections and tests to identify defects or issues in products, services or processes.
• Performs checks at various stages of production or development to catch and correct problems before they reach the end users.
• Analyzes existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Suggest changes, implement best practices and develop new procedures to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Prepares and submits reports to immediate superior of findings or problems encountered during the inspection of parts, supplies, units, and their corresponding suggestion to improve production and procedures.
• Communicates with immediate superior any problem encountered in the execution of duty and suggests possible solutions.
• Ensures that the products and processes adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with legal and safety requirements as well as any relevant industry-specific standards.
• Regularly review and update quality processes, procedures, and standards based on feedback, technological advancement and changing customer needs.
• Observes company policies, safety rules, proper work ethics and behavior at all times.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

1. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technology.

2. Training and certification in Quality Management System is an advantage.

3. Knowledgeable of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, as well as the inspection tools and measuring instruments.

4. With in-depth understanding of Refrigeration components, Electrical wiring inspection, Leak testing and pressure testing, and Product performance testing.

5. With basic knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.

6. With at least a minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in a manufacturing environment, and must be willing to learn and undergo trainings.

7. Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance manufacturing, or electronics manufacturing is preferred.

8. Must be willing to work at Quezon City.

9. Can start ASAP.
