Job summary

San Miguel Corporation is seeking a QA Engineer/Technician to perform random and continuous sampling and inspection of wares during packing and delivery preparation. The role focuses on ensuring products meet specified requirements through an acceptance sampling plan.

The candidate should have a 3-year vocational/engineering background and strong communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer software applications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a 3-year vocational/technical course or an Engineering program.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer software applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct random/continuous sampling and inspection of wares at various stages to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.
• Decide PASS or HOLD based on the Acceptance Sampling Plan and document results.
• Assist in production tallying for Plains and decorated bottles.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

Conducts random/continuous sampling and inspection of all the wares packed at the Cold End, ACL packaging end, and all wares subject for delivery. Decides whether to PASS or HOLD the wares based on a specified Acceptance Sampling Plan. This is to ensure that the wares packed have undergone thorough inspection and testing in order to meet specified customer requirement. To conduct production tally for Plains and decorated bottles.

Graduate of any three (3) year vocational technical course / Graduate of any Engineering Course.

Has working knowledge in computer software applications and should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
