Job summary

VAST LIGHTING CORP in Cavite seeks a QA/QC Associate to support daily quality assurance operations in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, enforcing processes, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

You will monitor inspections, mentor inspectors, record findings, and collaborate cross-functionally to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. The position requires 2–3 years of QA/QC experience and a related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in quality inspection, process control, and defect ID.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, documentation, 5S, CAPA.
• Leadership and supervisory Skills; good communication.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Supervisor in daily QA operations.
• Monitor products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and assign tasks.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks during production.
• Review results and identify quality issues.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments on quality concerns.
• Investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Document inspection reports and QA records.
• Support internal and customer audits.
