Job summary

Sensient Technologies Philippines seeks a Chemist and QC Technician for Biñan, Laguna. This role focuses on routine QC testing, measurement systems analysis, and data communication across departments to support quality and safety. Office-based, five-day work week with ongoing training and development.

You will engage in QA activities, root cause analysis, and collaboration with the team to ensure GMP compliance and quality standards across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields and extensive quality control experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of process/instrument validation; spectrophotometer/colorimeter and microbiology lab is a plus.
• Basic statistical tools: Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, Correlation & Regression.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing per QC methods and protocols; design, conduct and analyze measurement systems analysis.
• Investigate issues and participate in root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Communicate lab data across departments and build strong team relationships.
• Participate in Food Safety audits to ensure positive outcomes.

We are seeking for a Chemistand detail-oriented QC Technician. As a part of Philippines Quality team, You will demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude and a self-motivator. This is a key team player role, and focusing on customers, quality, and safety, so we need you to be committed to driving results and collaborating well with your teammates. This exciting role is a five days work week, 8 hours a day and 100% office based Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.

What you will do:

• You will be our go-to person for routine testing per QC methods and protocols, including designing, conducting and analyzing measurement systems analysis.
• Being a great problem solver is one of your strengths: you will solve issues and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
• In this a team-oriented job, so you are able to use your strong communication skills verbally and in writing, to communicate internal lab data across the departments and for building relationships with your teammates.
• Whenever a Quality Audit is scheduled, you will be part of our Food Safety team to ensure a positive outcome.

What you will bring:

• To be successful in this job, you ideally bring a bachelor’s degree in related fields plus extensive quality control experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable of process/ instrument and equipment validation; knowledge in spectrophotometer/ colorimeter and microbiological laboratory is a plus
• Understands and can use basic statistical tools – Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, Correlation and Regression Analysis, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding in implementing ISO 17025 and conducting basic physico-chemical testing.
• Familiar with JDE IT or other ERP system will be an advantage.
