Job summary

AF Payments Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance and Test Engineer to drive end-to-end QA, testing, and release activities across pre-prod to production. You will identify defects, ensure compliance with specs, and proactively prevent failures as part of an agile team.

You will lead testing efforts, propose tools and best practices, and collaborate with the QA and Release Manager and cross-functional developers to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT and solutions development experience.
• Graduate of Computer Science or similar IT, Data Science or programming courses.
• Preference for Scrum background and GitHub usage.
• Experience building cross‑platform apps with multi-stack tech including .NET, Java, Flutter, React, and Figma.
• Familiarity with backend SOA or microservices and related tools.
• Understanding of MVP/MVVM patterns and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Big Data, data lakes, BI/Analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA, testing and release activities from pre-production to production.
• Identify defects, deviations, and performance issues; prevent failures early.
• Recommend tools and best practices; share knowledge across teams.
• Engage from sprint start to plan how features will be tested in an agile model.
• Collaborate with QA and Release Manager, developers, and stakeholders.
