ConnectOS is seeking a senior Performance Testing and Engineering lead in the Philippines to define and maintain the organisation's performance strategy across multiple programmes. You will establish standards, governance, and tooling aligned with the Totalmobile framework, guiding product teams and QA engineers to embed performance early in the SDLC.

• Define and maintain the organisation's performance testing and performance engineering strategy.
• Establish performance testing standards, frameworks, methodologies, and governance; evaluate new tools and best practices.
• Lead performance testing activities across multiple programmes and product teams.
• Develop performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience test approaches aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance on application performance, scalability, and capacity planning.
• Review test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Design and implement end-to-end performance testing solutions.
• o Define non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• o Develop workload models and performance test scenarios based on user behaviours and production data.
• o Drive a shift-left performance engineering culture by embedding performance considerations early in the software development lifecycle.
• o Review test results, identify bottlenecks, and support improvements.
• Act as SME for performance testing and engineering, mentoring QA engineers and technical teams.
• Define and monitor performance KPIs and quality metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing and engineering functions.

Skills And Experience

• Significant experience in performance testing and performance engineering.


• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale performance testing solutions.


• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and APIs.


• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad, and k6.


• Strong knowledge of Application performance monitoring (APM), Infrastructure monitoring, Database performance analysis, Network performance analysis


• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.


• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
