Job summary

Beyond is building a dedicated QA team for a European financial services client. As QA Lead you will own test strategy and automation for AWS-based TypeScript/Next.js applications; it's hands-on leadership, setting quality standards and presenting to clients and delivery teams.

You will design and maintain automated suites (unit, integration, E2E), mentor QA staff, leverage AI tools, ensure API test coverage, and collaborate with developers to ensure release readiness in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as QA Lead or Senior Test Engineer with strong automation background.
• Hands-on automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Strong scripting in TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js; Python/Go/C# a plus.
• Solid AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CI/CD).
• Experience testing API-driven and web applications with API testing expertise.
• Practical use of AI tools to improve QA productivity and coverage.
• Excellent English communication; confident stakeholder presentations.
• Disciplined test planning and execution in Agile environments.

We're building a dedicated QA team for a European financial services client operating in debt servicing and alternative assets (private equity). As QA Lead, you'll own the test strategy and automation approach for solutions built on AWS using TypeScript and Next.js. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the quality standard, build and maintain automated test suites, and act as the QA voice with both the client and the delivery team - so confident spoken communication and the ability to present to stakeholders are essential.

About you

• Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior Test Engineer with a strong automated testing background
• Hands-on automation experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Strong scripting and coding ability (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js; Python, Go, or C# a plus)
• Solid AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience testing API-driven and web applications, with strong API testing expertise
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve QA productivity and coverage
• Excellent English communication skills - especially confident, clear spoken presentation to stakeholders
