Job summary

O&B is seeking a Mid-level Software Tester to strengthen our QA efforts. You will design, execute, and analyze test cases to identify defects and ensure product quality, with opportunities to deepen expertise in automation and performance testing.

You will mentor junior testers, contribute to test strategy, and drive process improvements in an Agile/Scrum environment, using Jira and TestRail to manage tests and defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience including manual testing and test automation.
• Solid experience with Jira for bug tracking, task management, and Agile workflow integration.
• Experience with TestRail for test suite management and execution tracking is preferred.
• Strong QA core skills: designing, executing, and analyzing complex test cases from requirements.
• Automation proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Proactive process improvement and Agile/Scrum QA workflow experience.
• Leadership and mentorship skills to guide junior teammates.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and strategy development with thorough test data preparation and environment setup.
• Lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate scalability and responsiveness.
• Log, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for QA process improvements and drive initiatives.
