Job summary

Tilt is hiring a Software QA Engineer for the Cashalo team in the Philippines. You will ensure our best work reaches millions of users, creating robust automation and detailed test plans, and coordinating with stakeholders for deployment.

This hybrid role requires work at the Manila office 2 days per week. You’ll own test strategies, execute performance tests, and play a lead role in QA across product lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expertise in Mobile and/or REST API manual testing.
• 3+ years of expertise in REST API automation in Python/JavaScript, etc.
• Experience working as a technical leader for QA.
• Experience working within an Agile Continuous Delivery team.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps in cloud platforms like Azure is preferable.
• Knowledge of API Performance and Load Testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Robust Automation: hands-on in the codebase, designing and maintaining automated frameworks and custom tools while integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design End-to-End Test Strategies: translate requirements into detailed test plans, identify critical scenarios, craft high-impact test cases.
• Guarantee System Performance: perform manual, performance, and stress testing to ensure reliability under heavy load.
• Drive Defect Resolution: own the bug-tracking lifecycle and work with developers to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify fixes.
• Influence Code Quality: participate in code reviews and feature development to meet high standards for quality and testability.
• Manage Environments & Processes: manage test environments and data, use metrics to refine testing lifecycle.
