Job summary

Hashed in the Philippines is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to scale automated tests for mobile and web apps. You will design and implement end-to-end automation, improve test coverage, and ensure reliable releases across components.

Strong coding in Python and hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and Pytest are required. You will participate in Go-to-market readiness, collaborate with developers and product teams, and document testing procedures, data sets, and environments to support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Eng, or related field.
5+ years hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Familiarity with full SDLC and Git flow.
Strong experience with Appium, Selenium, and Pytest.
Capable of writing code in Python and end-to-end automation testing for mobile or web apps.

Responsibilities

Solve for scale on massive concurrent live stream views.
Build latency and interactivity for live streaming video.
Create capability to handle high in-app transaction volumes.
Enable rapid iteration via microservices architecture.
Mentor peers and share domain/technical expertise.
Establish QA metrics and automation architecture to meet targets.
Coordinate Go-Live activities and deployment checklists.
Document architecture, issues, solutions, testing procedures, and automation scripts.
