PaxSigna, a specialist talent solutions division of the Lennor Group, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in BGC, Manila. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cypress to validate web applications and APIs, collaborating with product and development teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and experience in CI/CD integration, SQL data validation, and Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web application test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Experience working with SQL for data validation and testing.
• Experience using Git for source control and test automation development.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing to validate application quality and reliability.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify appropriate testing approaches.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support the implementation of automated quality gates.
• Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and ensure test coverage remains aligned with application requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.

• Experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
