Job summary
NCS Philippines is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance and control team in Makati City, Metro Manila. You will design and maintain automated testing solutions for software, systems and manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and reliability across operations.
The role requires 3-5 years in QA automation or software testing, proficiency with Selenium and at least one programming language, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance CI/CD and test
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA automation engineering or software testing roles.
- Proficiency with at least one automation tool (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, compatibility).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for software, systems and manufacturing processes.
- Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and improvement areas.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers and stakeholders to define test strategies.
- Maintain and update automation frameworks to stay compatible with evolving tech.
- Analyze results and document findings with root-cause analysis and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing and boost automation coverage in manufacturing and logistics.
- Support CI/CD by integrating automated tests into pipelines.
- Participate in QA reviews and help develop standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues promptly.
