Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the development and implementation of QA standards within projects. You will write test cases/scripts, execute functional tests, track defects, and report progress to the QA Lead and Project Manager.

You will design test cases, perform manual testing, and contribute to QA deliverables while mentoring junior QA staff. A Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering and at least 2 years QA experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of software QA experience.
• Knowledgeable in test case creation, test design, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Designs and writes Test Cases and Test Scripts.
• Reports QA status to Project Manager/QA Lead.
• Performs defect reporting and tracking through to closure.
• Assists in investigation of defects and quality concerns.
• Provides QA execution recommendations to project teams.
• Mentors junior QA resources on QA practices.
