Job summary

Qi Group is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to both manual and automated testing efforts to deliver high-quality products and seamless user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Software Quality Assurance or testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing of web and mobile apps.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated tests with Selenium and Playwright.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and project stakeholders to understand business requirements, project scope, and testing needs.
• Review requirements and provide feedback on test coverage, quality risks, and potential gaps.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure product quality and stability.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities when required.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Track and manage defects using test management and bug-tracking tools.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and execution results.
• Prepare and communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and project discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product releases and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production deployments and perform post-deployment validation activities.
• Participate in rotational deployment support and system health monitoring activities.
