Job summary

MC Geometric Proportions, Inc. seeks a Purchasing Engineer to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely procurement of engineering materials and services for company operations and projects.

The role coordinates with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, QA, Warehouse, and Finance to meet technical specs, quality standards, and budgets. Strong communication and Excel/ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience in purchasing engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, and industrial supplies.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PRs and POs and canvass suppliers.
• Source qualified suppliers and request quotations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, QA, and Warehouse.
