Good Eats Specialists Inc. is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional in Metro Manila to source items, negotiate prices, and manage vendor performance. You will prepare requisitions, monitor delivery timelines, and optimize inventory to meet company needs.

A strong background in contracts and cost control is essential to support company goals. A Bachelor's degree is required, with 3–5 years of buying experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Generally accountable for sourcing, negotiation of buying price, and evaluation of vendors and contracts
• Ensures 100% service level and compliance of vendors to agreed product specifications
• Must consistently review existing goods and vendor performance to maintain; research new items for best price and vendors
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
• Responsible for timing of delivery and inventory management
• Able to report commodity trends and purchasing plans to management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive level understanding of assigned commodities and understanding of market trends
• Solid negotiation, process and contract administration skills, including the ability to effectively manage program cost requirements and relationships with suppliers in order to support company goals
• Must possess strong problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills in order to interact with internal and external partners
• Advance organisation skills are required in order to handle multiple tasks
• Relies on extensive experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Merchandising experience is an advantage
• Minimum of 3-5 years of buying/procurement experience is required
• Bachelor's degree is required
