Promote Iligan is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to source and acquire materials for the Engineering Department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

You will negotiate with suppliers, manage pricing records in QuickBooks, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with accounting and warehouse teams. Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in purchasing or supply chain are required.

• Role Summary:

  Responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials requested by the Engineering Department, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Research materials online for pricing.
  • Call suppliers for canvassing of materials.
  • Record and update material pricing.
  • Prepare Purchase Order forms for signing and approval.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department for purchase and rental transactions.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Department for the materials requested and pulled out from the warehouse.
  • Monitor and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Record daily fuel transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Record and maintain inventory reports of materials provided by the warehouse staff.
  • In-charge of equipment rentals and SQA preparation.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for the Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain and update supplier contacts.

• Educational Requirement:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or any similar field.
