Job summary

Revaya is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of condominium corporations, residential rentals, and commercial properties. The role requires preparing monthly and year-end statements, bank reconciliations, and accurate general ledger maintenance, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of property accounting.

The candidate will use Yardi or similar software, collaborate with Property Managers and the accounting team, and ensure deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, or condominium management.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and monthly financial statements.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple properties or cost centers is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, accruals, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of condominium corporations, residential rental properties, and commercial properties.
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and budgeting reports.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Enter transactions into Yardi and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and year-end entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for managers and boards.
• Assist with year-end audits and documentation for external accountants.
