Anchor Land Holdings Inc. is seeking a Property Accountant to handle property management accounting, prepare financial statements, and coordinate with the PM and treasury. The role involves maintaining books, reconciling accounts, and supporting annual budgeting.
The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy with 1–2 years in property accounting and strong computer skills. This is a project-based contract location Parañaque/Pasay, Manila.
The Property Accountant is responsible for all property management accounting works primarily in preparation and submission of reports and maintenance of accounting books.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains books of accounts and other related accounting documents and records;
Records transactions in the books of original entry, subsidiary ledgers, and general ledger in a timely manner;
Prepares monthly trial balance, financial statements, related reports and account schedules and submits reports on a timely basis;
Prepares monthly bank reconciliation schedule;
Prepares reconciliation and subsidiary ledgers and general ledgers;
Regular Review and Counting of Petty Cash Fund;
Processes payments to suppliers, contractors and other payables, and schedules such as payments;
Assists the PM in the preparation of the annual property budget.
Reviews and coordinates the work of Accounting Assistant in the following:
Preparation of billing and monitoring of accounts receivables.
Collection of accounts (OR issuance) and depositing.
Daily/weekly/monthly reports for Billing and Collections
Handles and coordinates government requirements such as covering registration of books and filing of returns;
Provides and coordinates requirements for the annual external audit report;
Accomplishes the accounting control and compliance checklist on a monthly basis and discuss status with PM, Immediate Superior and Treasury Controller.
Prepares and submits weekly PM's Financial Report.
Coordinates with Immediate Superior and Treasury Controller on problems or concerns regarding property accounting, reports and/or internal control;
Review physical inventories of supplies, fixed asset report and prepares corresponding book reconciliation;
Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Accounting Technology
With 1-2 years experience in property management accounting, financial report, taxation, of Condo corp/HOA concerns.
Preferably with experience in finance/audit/tax or equivalent but not required.
Computer Proficient
