A Promoter is responsible for generating awareness, excitement, and interest in a product, service, or event. They engage with potential customers, demonstrate products, and help drive sales through various marketing activities, ensuring that the brand or event gains visibility and traction.
Key Responsibilities
Product/Brand Promotion
- Actively promote and represent the company’s products, services, or events to potential customers.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to engage customers and encourage sales.
Customer Engagement
- Interact with customers face‑to‑face, over the phone, or through online platforms to build relationships and answer questions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding products or services.
Event Coordination
- Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, such as product launches, in‑store activations, trade shows, or marketing campaigns.
- Set up displays, arrange giveaways, and help create a compelling brand experience at events.
Marketing and Sales Support
- Collect feedback and insights from customers to support marketing and sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to provide valuable input for promotional efforts.
Sales Generation
- Drive sales by motivating customers to make purchases during promotions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, if applicable, and report results to management.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory for promotional materials.
- Provide regular updates to the marketing team on promotional success, customer responses, and areas for improvement.
Brand Representation
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the brand or company at all times.
- Ensure promotional materials are up to date and accurately reflect the brand.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a degree or certification).
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer‑facing roles preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident with the ability to engage a diverse range of customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
