Job summary

POWER FOR ALL INCORPORATED seeks a Safety Officer 3 (Project Based) to oversee safety on wastewater treatment and solar projects. You will assess hazards, deliver training, conduct inspections, and lead emergency response planning to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

You will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to uphold safety standards, perform audits, and report findings with actionable improvements across all sites in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant safety certifications and training.
• Previous experience in safety management for construction, wastewater treatment, or solar projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of Philippine safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that wastewater treatment and solar projects adhere to local safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify potential hazards in project sites and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors, emphasizing best practices and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, site visits, and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for wastewater treatment and solar projects.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly safety meetings with subcontractors and employees.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among all project team members.
