Job summary

FMG is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Architect to lead and oversee complex design and delivery of transit, aviation, and civic projects in California. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams through all phases, manage budgets, and interact with public officials and agencies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in architecture, licensure in California or ability to obtain within one year, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an architectural firm
• PM experience delivering public sector and transportation projects
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture
• Licensed Architect in California or able to obtain within one year
• Exceptional management and organizational skills
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines
• Good graphic and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Expertise in leading construction document preparation and delivery
• Experience developing work scope and related fees

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management of day-to-day project activities
