Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Senior Project Manager to oversee, direct, and deliver our complete portfolio of IT and Electronic Money Institution (EMI) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing concurrent projects spanning core financial platform development, regulatory compliance tech, payment gateway integrations, and infrastructure scaling. You will bridge the gap between technical IT engineering teams, financial compliance officers, and executive leadership to ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Planning
- Define project scopes, technical requirements, and cross-functional deliverables.
- Create comprehensive, multi-track project roadmaps using Agile methodologies.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project performance.
EMI & Regulatory Compliance
- Align IT project pipelines with central bank regulations and financial audits.
- Oversee implementation of robust KYC, anti-money laundering (AML), and fraud-prevention tools.
- Ensure all fintech product rollouts strictly adhere to PCI-DSS data security standards.
IT Delivery & Technical Coordination
- Manage software development lifecycles (SDLC) for mobile wallets and payment platforms.
- Coordinate core banking system upgrades and secure API integrations with external banks.
- Supervise quality assurance (QA) protocols to minimize bugs before platform updates go live.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of software engineers, UX designers, and financial analysts.
- Serve as the central communication hub between technical staff and executive management.
- Negotiate timelines and feature priorities directly with product owners and clients.
Risk, Budget, & Resource Management
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities, technical blockers, or compliance risks early.
- Formulate proactive mitigation plans to prevent financial downtime or project delays.
- Allocate developer hours and optimize internal tool budgets to match strategic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, FinTech, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of project management experience, specifically within an EMI, Neobank, or FinTech/IT enterprise environment.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master (CSM), or PMI-ACP certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Competencies
- Methodologies: Expert command of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban delivery frameworks.
- Software: Advanced proficiency with management tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or MS Project.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of digital ledgers, SEPA/SWIFT clearing architectures, and payment processing ecosystems
