Job summary

Lucworth Development Corporation seeks an experienced Project-in-charge / Site Engineer to lead construction management on-site in San Juan City, Metro Manila. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and high-quality standards, while coordinating between office, contractors, and clients.

The role requires 4–8 years of site engineering experience, strong knowledge of Philippine codes, and proficiency in reading drawings and using construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
• PRC license (preferred).
• 4–8 years site engineering experience in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience with construction management software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication in English and Filipino.
• Willingness to work on-site in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with residential or commercial Metro Manila projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management principles.

About the role

Lucworth Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Project-in-charge / Site Engineer to join our dynamic construction management team. This is a full-time position based in San Juan City, Metro Manila, offering a strategic opportunity to oversee and manage construction projects from inception through completion. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact on-site, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is integral to our operations, directly impacting project success and client satisfaction whilst maintaining our reputation as a leading development corporation.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
2. Monitor project progress and maintain detailed records of daily activities, materials, labor, and equipment usage
3. Conduct regular inspections of structural elements, concrete work, and building systems to verify quality standards and specifications are met
4. Manage site safety protocols and ensure all workers adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
5. Liaise between the main office, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues promptly
6. Prepare and submit progress reports, inspection records, and documentation as required by management and clients
7. Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges that arise during construction
8. Coordinate material deliveries and manage inventory on-site to ensure project continuity
9. Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and prepare handover documentation upon project completion
10. Support cost control measures and contribute to maintaining project budgets

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized institution
2. Civil Engineer or Architect PRC license is a plus
3. Minimum 4-8 years of site engineering experience on construction projects in the Philippines
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations applicable in the Philippines
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
6. Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
7. Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
9. Physical fitness and willingness to work on-site in varying weather conditions
10. Preferred experience with residential or commercial building projects in Metro Manila
11. Familiarity with project management principles and construction sequencing
