Job summary

Pump Asia Industrial Co. is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation engineer to assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of motor control systems, pumps, generators, and related equipment.

The role involves troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems, interpreting drawings, and supporting on-site testing and documentation with cross-functional teams. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with motor control circuits troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA fundamentals.
• AutoCAD 2D/3D proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, installation, and commissioning of motor control systems (VFD, Soft Starters, Wye-Delta, DOL, etc.).
• Assist in pumps, motors, and generators projects.
• Assist in chlorination systems and chemical disinfection equipment.
• Assist in flow metering devices (EMF, ultrasonic, mechanical).
• Assist in SCADA systems and PLC-based automation.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Support panel assembly, wiring, and testing in workshop and on-site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during project implementation.
• Assist in documentation, site surveys, and technical reports preparation.
• Attend client meetings and technical presentations as needed.
