Job summary

Spectrum Audio Visual Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join the Project Delivery team. You will support the Project Manager in coordinating and delivering AV system integration projects, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring on-time completion.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of project experience in AV/ELV/ICT sectors, strong communication skills, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Audio Visual, Electrical, IT or related discipline.
• 1 year of project engineering/coordination experience in AV/ELV/ICT/Security/Electrical/M&E.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and schematic drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and subcontractors.
• Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Spectrum is looking for a motivated and organised Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team.

Working under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing, coordinating and delivering professional Audio Visual (AV) system integration projects. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with 1-3 years of project experience who are ready to take the next step in their careers and develop into future Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

1) Project Coordination

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering AV system integration projects.
  

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  

• Monitor project schedules, site progress and key milestones to support timely project completion.
  

• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
  

2) Site & Resource Management

• Coordinate manpower deployment, material deliveries and site activities.
  

• Monitor installation progress and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  

• Identify project risks, delays or issues and escalat them to the Project Manager where appropriate.
  

• Ensure projects are executed safely and in accordance with company standards.
  

3) Technical & Project Support

• Review and interpret construction and AV schematic drawings.
  

• Work closely with the Design, Installation and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  

4) Documentation

• Prepare project schedule, reports, variation orders, progress updates, as-built documentation and handover documents.
  

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Audio Visual, Electrical, IT or a related discipline.
  

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Project Engineering or Project Coordination within the AV, ELV, ICT, Security, Electrical or M&E industry.
  

• Able to read and interpret construction and schematic drawings.
  

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in dealing with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  

• Good planning, coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  

• Self‑motivated, proactive and eager to learn.
  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  

• Candidates with AV engineering experience and exposure to project coordination are encouraged to apply.
