Job Summary:
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site engineering activities and ensuring that construction works are executed properly, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Track work progress, materials usage, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Ensure construction works adhere to approved plans, drawings, and technical specifications
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports
- Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address site concerns and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Assist in store turnover, inspections, and punch listing to ensure project completion and readiness for operation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 1–2 years of experience in construction site engineering or project supervision
- Registered Civil Engineer is a plus
- Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, and project implementation
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and basic project reporting tools
