The role drives investment evaluation, commercial structuring, and governance across project pipelines, coordinating technical, regulatory, environmental, and financial workstreams to maximize value and deliver on strategic milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of the company's project development strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in renewable energy, conventional generation, energy storage, transmission, distribution, and other energy infrastructure.
• Establish project prioritization frameworks and investment roadmaps.
• Drive project origination through acquisitions, greenfield developments, partnerships, and competitive bidding.
• Oversee project pipeline management from opportunity screening through Notice to Proceed.
• Ensure alignment between technical, commercial, regulatory, environmental, and financial workstreams.

ProjectDevelopment Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Lead the formulation and execution of thecompany's project development strategy aligned with corporate growthobjectives

BusinessDevelopment, Investment Evaluation & Commercial Structuring

• Lead preparation of investment proposals,business cases, and Board approval materials
• Direct technical, commercial, financial,environmental, and legal due diligence
• Oversee project financial modeling andinvestment analysis
• Lead commercial negotiations with developers,utilities, suppliers, investors, EPC contractors, lenders, and strategicpartners
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, jointventures, and strategic alliances
• Develop innovative commercial structures thatmaximize project returns

ProjectExecution Readiness & Delivery Governance

• Ensure projects achieve development milestoneswithin approved schedules and budgets
• Provide executive oversight on engineeringstudies, feasibility studies, permitting, procurement strategy, and projectexecution planning
• Establish project governance frameworks,reporting standards, and performance metrics
• Lead executive reviews of project risks,schedule, cost, and quality
• Resolve critical project issues and removeorganizational roadblocks
• Ensure seamless transition from development toexecution

Regulatory,Stakeholder & Government Relations

• Lead regulatory strategy for projectapprovals, permits, licenses, and compliance
• Represent the company before DOE, ERC, DENR,NGCP, PEZA, BOI, LGUs, and other regulatory agencies
• Build strategic relationships with governmentinstitutions, investors, customers, developers, and industry organizations
• Lead negotiations involving land acquisition,right-of-way, commercial agreements, and community stakeholders
• Support regulatory hearings and technicalpresentations

Financial,Risk & Contract Management

• Ensure financial viability through robustinvestment analysis and portfolio optimization
• Oversee project development budgets andcapital planning
• Direct contract negotiations and commercialrisk allocation
• Establish enterprise risk mitigationstrategies covering technical, regulatory, commercial, environmental, andfinancial risks
• Monitor project development expenditures andinvestment performance
