Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Project Delivery Engineer – Collaboration to lead end-to-end delivery of cloud collaboration projects, focusing on Cisco Webex Calling, SIP integrations, and enterprise voice services. About The Role

The Project Delivery Engineer – Collaboration is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of cloud collaboration and unified communications solutions, with a primary focus on Cisco Webex Calling, SIP integrations, and enterprise voice services. The role is accountable for translating customer requirements into technical solutions, delivering configuration and implementation activities, leading migrations and cutovers, and ensuring successful transition into operational support.

Working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Operational Support teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders, the engineer will deliver customer projects across the full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, detailed design, solution provisioning, testing, deployment, migration, and post-implementation support. The role requires strong technical expertise in Webex Calling, SIP telephony, PSTN services, and cloud-managed collaboration platforms.

Solution Discovery and Design

• Conduct customer workshops, technical discovery, and requirements gathering activities.
• Analyse existing telephony, unified communications, and collaboration environments.
• Develop Detailed Design Documents (DDD), dial plans, migration plans, implementation runbooks, and test plans.
• Validate technical solutions against architectural standards, customer requirements, and operational support models.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and remediation strategies.

Webex Calling Delivery

• Create and configure Webex Calling locations and services.
• Configure PSTN connectivity, SIP trunks, dial plans, number ranges, and call routing.
• Provision users, workspaces, devices, and calling features.
• Configure hunt groups, call queues, auto attendants, voicemail groups, and other collaboration features.
• Manage licensing, templates, and device onboarding activities.
• Support multi-site customer deployments using standardised build methodologies.

SIP Integration and Voice Migration

• Integrate customer SIP devices, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), Cisco CUBE platforms, SIP gateways, and PBX environments.
• Perform SIP routing, dial plan normalisation, and interoperability testing.
• Execute number migrations, porting activities, and telephony cutovers.
• Validate voice quality, resiliency, and failover requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex voice and collaboration issues during implementation.

Deployment and Transition

• Conduct pre-deployment testing and solution validation.
• Execute implementation and cutover activities in accordance with approved plans.
• Complete post-deployment verification and customer acceptance testing.
• Provide hypercare and post-implementation support following production deployment.
• Transition successfully implemented services to operational support teams.

Automation and Provisioning

• Utilise Nuwave iPilot and Webex Control Hub to streamline service provisioning.
• Perform bulk onboarding, user provisioning, and number management activities.
• Leverage standardised templates and automation capabilities to improve delivery efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reusable deployment frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, support teams, vendors, carriers, and customer technical stakeholders.
• Provide implementation updates, technical guidance, and risk assessments throughout project delivery.
• Escalate issues and dependencies proactively.
• Support knowledge transfer and operational readiness activities.
